Camping Regular A1, C3 and C7 campsites are located within walking distance of the Festivalpark. These campsites are rather basic, but no less enjoyable! They are not operated by the festival organisation, but by other, private organisers. The Camping Regular campsites open on Thursday 3 July at 8 am.

In exchange for a valid camping ticket and upon presentation of a valid festival ticket, you can check in to the campsite. You will receive a camping bracelet showing which campsite you are staying on. The camping bracelet does not grant access to any of the other campsites or the Festival Park.
Do you wish to camp with friends on one of the festival campsites? Be sure to decide on the campsite of your choice in advance! Tickets cannot be exchanged after your purchase.
Every camper at The Hive or The Hive Resort receives a recycling kit with residual waste and PMD bag upon arrival. Full bags can be delivered to the various waste points. Anyone who needs an extra bag will receive one upon simple request. Sort your waste daily and drop your full bags at the waste point. You can also dispose of broken camping gear here. We ensure that as much as possible is recycled into new raw materials.
Every year there are those abandoned tents. We need every camper's help. Take positive action, reduce your own carbon footprint and take your tent, gazebo and other camping gear back home and keep reusing them.
Don't:
Do:
(*) About gazebos (‘party tents’): only gazebos with a maximal size of 3 metres by 3 metres are allowed. Gazebos have to be set up to cover at least half of your tent. Gazebos cannot be set up next to each other. A maximum of one gazebo is allowed in between multiple tents. Any tents/gazebos not pitched according to the rules will be removed. Please follow The Hive campsite staff’s directions. May we ask to securely set up your gazebo, taking into account its wind sensitivity?
(**) About large objects/furniture: the camping manager decides in case of doubt.
Leave your valuables at home as much as possible. And whatever you do, don’t leave them in your tent unsupervised. None of the organizing parties (campsite staff, festival organizer, local authorities) can be held responsible for possible theft. Should you decide to take valuables along, you can always store them in the lockers just outside the Festivalpark.
Every campsite is divided into zones with fire lanes between them. Tents must be set up on the proper pitches. Please follow the campsite staff's instructions. Tents in the fire lane will be removed by the campsite staff.
There is a fist aid post on every Regular campsite. The Red Cross and the ambulance service from Leuven are permanently present. Need first aid? Call 112 or call for help through the App 112. Never hesitate to ask a (camping) crew member for help.
The pharmacy in Werchter is located on Tweebruggenstraat 7. Opening hours during Rock Werchter from 10 am to 6 pm. Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm.
We aim for our festivals to be a place where everyone should feel safe, welcome and comfortable. A place where no one is exposed to discrimination, criticism or harassment. Everyone should be able to be themselves, and all are welcome, regardless of sex, gender, orientation, culture, religion, ethnicity or disability. We are committed to ensuring that our festivals and concerts are healthy and safe for everyone.
Our employees are trained, they stay alert to any problems and respond appropriately as needed. We have specialists in various fields on hand and festivalgoers can speak to a confidential counseler if they wish. The We Care A Lot hotline is available 24/7 during the festival. A WhatsApp message to +32 (0)478 51 15 79 is a direct line to quick help. You can also contact our We Care A Lot employees via the Rock Werchter app.

Rock Werchter’s campsites - except for The Hive, The Hive My Space, The Hive ADL, The Hive Resort and Rock Werchter Mobilhome - are run by local associations, not by the festival’s organizers. The latter cannot be held responsible for any abuse on campsites. Complaints should be lodged with the campsite supervisor. Of course, problems may be pointed out to the local authorities of Haacht or Rotselaar and to the festival organizers as well. All camping-related matters are co-ordinated by the local councils of Haacht and Rotselaar. They have drawn up the rules with regard to pricing, opening hours, number of toilets, wrist bands, lighting, firebreaks, cleaning ...
